Sideshow Collectibles has acquired the GI Joe license and will start producing 1:6 scale high quality figures.
There are no photos available yet but it is reported that the first 2 figures will be Cobra Commander & Snake Eyes . . . More info should be released at the Feb 17-20 Toy Fair . . .
There may also be some 1:4 scale premium format statues being made . .
. . . so now you know . . .

The quality of most of their figures is amazing . . . if you sign up you can pre-order but not have to pay until they actually ship . . . and you can cancel at any time before that . . .
I will post here when they are up for order . . I have a real good feeling about this line . . .
For example . . . here is the Kroenen figure from Hell Boy

Sure was. Pretty danged awesome too. Duke, Scarlett, Rock N Roll, Flint, Lady Jaye, Beachhead, Gung Ho, and of course Cobra Commander, were all easily recognizable. Regardless of what they do with the figures, it was just thrilling to see them in live action and be so true to the original toys, yet realistic and not corny looking.
