Anyone into Vinyl toys?

they're designer art toys. They're designed by artists (fine artists) and are collected by colletors (not really meant for kids). There are numbered sets, limited editions, etc.Elveen wrote:I have never seen anything like that.
What the heck are those? More information needed.
They are a lot more popular on the coasts, as well as in Mexico, Japan, and Europe. Most big cities have shops that sell them along with 'underground' designer clothing. (i.e. Plastic Chapel in Denver).
There is a wide variety and many companies producing them, the biggest one I think is http://kidrobot.com/ "Kidrobot is planet Earth's premier creator & retailer of limited edition toys, clothing, mini-figures, artwork & books."
for sure. If you're already hooked on comics, I wouldn't suggest getting into these, as it can be a similar addiction. I only dabble myself, but i have some friends who are obsessed.Squirrel wrote:Theres a shop in Metro detroit that specialty is these...packed with all them!
