Help needed

Post by dellamorte »

I need to find a really small camera. I'm sure at some point some action figure has come with one I just don't know where to start looking. To give an idea of size needed it will be glued into the flipper of one of Sean Chen's penguins. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be great.

This is the most bizarre request that I've seen on this board, and I've read some weird $#!(.

Are we talking a functioning camera or a chunk of plastic that looks like one?

I don't think many cameras that size look like what we think of when we think of cameras.

 It's for my wife for her birthday. She's a photographer and a huge fan of Sean's penguins. So I want to get her a penguin with a camera. Does that make it less strange?

http://cgi.ebay.com/AB00-02-1-6-Action- ... 1|294%3A50

$11.99 including shipping though.

I'm sure you could find it cheaper at a garage sale off a Peter Parker action figure (with camera). I'd call a toy store as well to see if they have a spare parts box of action figure parts.

That's 1:6 scale which I think would be a little big. A 1:6 scale action figure is 12" tall. This would be like a "Mego" size camera. Might be a little big for a penguin. A smaller scale Peter Parker action figure (as mentioned), which you might could find lose on eBay, might be the best source.

This might be the worst looking "action figure" I've ever seen!

I can't even tell if the "camera accessory" is a lose item or molded into his hand.

This one might work.

Thanks for the info. I don't collect action figures so I wasn't sure what 1/6 meant. :thumb:

Thanks. This looks like it might be the best option.
