I won it just a while ago! It's been one of my goals to get one on the cheap for a while and it looks like this is the cheapest I'll get.

The seller put it in the wrong category.:D

Of course, I'm hoping one day to own the real thing, but this'll sure do for now!

Next up: An old Mego General Lee with Bo and Luke and and Ertl Authenthics black General Lee w/ decals.

Thanks! But I'm wanting one in either near mint or in the box.

Still real cool though.

One toy that I would take in good shape is the Knight Rider talking KITT. I really wouldn't care if it talked or not, but either way, it'd still cost more than I'm willing to pay.

Congrats on the good deal, 'rino!

I remember getting that Mego set of Bo, Luke, and the General Lee when I was a kid. Best birthday ever! I still have my original Bo, but not Luke or the General. Several years ago I saw a Luke in the package at a comic shop for $12 and had to get it. A couple years ago, my best bud and fellow Dukes fanatic gave my son a General Lee from the set. No decals and missing the roof "door" but he's played with it a lot and it has survived a lot of jumps.

You're lucky to have had one. I didn't have many toys when I was a kid. I'm pretty much playing catch up.

The Danbury Mint is just too cool a model to pass up on and the details are awesome! I highly recommend one to any Dukes fan!

As far as small 1/64 scale versions go, Johnny Lightning's got the most detailed cars. I got 2 of the old General Lee cars still on the card, but only for nostalgia. I'll be on the look out soon for the old Generals with the paper sticker decals instead of the plastic, in mint condition of course. So far though, I've only seen the plastic ones.

I haven't gotten mailed to me it yet, but I'm already celebrating!

I got it for the price I wanted to pay too! :thumb:

Congtats on the score—the Danbury Mint usually does a great job on their cars. I was really disappointed when after the Mint began taking orders for the ’66 Batmobile canceled them.

Try getting the Hot Wheels Batmobile Elite! That is an awesome car. Probably better than Danbury Mint. You can get either the 1:43 which is cheaper, or the 1:18 which is expensive but really cool!

I've thought about getting one myself. :hm:

My God, I had that thing as a kid! I had forgotten all about it, but the minute I saw it I had memories of playing with it in the backyard in my parents planter box.... lmao!
