My firdst reaction was going to be 'as long as he doesnt use McFarlane toys' but then it popped up.
Im not great fan of McFarlane and his toys look good but fall apart way too easy.
That said though, bout bloody time someone out these into production and McFarlane toys are a big big brand, so my own dislike aside, it is a good thing.

Will the figures based on the comics be in grayscale and the figures based on the TV series be full color?

McFarlane toys have always been like little statues . . . the level of detail they can produce at that scale is amazing . . .

Very true. They are more statues than they are "action figures."

Absolutely, so why not just make statues?

As with most action figures, i decide whether they look better in the box or out as some just look so great boxed, the magic is over the second they come out and stand alone.

For sure. I didn't realize that the figures do not hold up well (the few I have are still in the blister pkgs), but they are very neat to look at.

Zombies with body parts falling off? Sounds more like a feature than a flaw.

McFarlane spokesperson: Uh yeah, we make them like that on purpose.....

Toy Fair 2011 is this weekend. If McFarlane Toys has some of the proto-types there then we might see them for the Oct. start to season 2.

I wouldn't be shocked to find out that there are B&W variants . . . McFarlane is famous for that type of stuff . . .
