I read it. I liked the gratuitous use of bovine projectiles. But when Cloud went flying through the walls of a couple of houses, my first though was, "oh, she dead. And squishy." Obviously Rook cut some corners on building materials.

Same. I thought "Nobody survives that, she's dead for sure", forgetting that Cronus has his healing power.

I really like what's going on here. This is a great story. My guess is that the kinda goofy look of the Cornermen may have put off early readers. The early going "high school teen drama" may have contributed.

One other note: On the cover, 10 year old Animalia looks like a 65 year old heroin addict. :lol:
