Re: Ninja-K #4 Discussion
Haven't listened to your show yet, that'll be for tomorrow mornings workout.
I wonder if this isn't the last time we hear from Ninja-G...
If everything is brought to the ground, maybe to pull Ninja-K's backside out of the fire, she jumps back into action. Maybe she finds a seat in MI-6 to ensure corruption and abuse, like what is going on, never happens again. But, in doing that, she becomes part of the cog, and the wheel keeps churning. Maybe she becomes just as corrupt as what is going on (future speaking).
I was happy to see that Ninjak protected Livewire. I am sure we all can figure out what happens in the end, as this group will get Livewire involved or somehow kidnap her. Ninjak will need to search his feelings, thus succumbing to them, finally admitting them, and try and be the hero. He will fail, but Livewire will save the day (in multiple ways) because she doesn't need saving, and Ninjak is the one that needs to be saved (from himself).
Feelings!
Also. It was the end of Anolog Man that BS finds out about the virus left in his head. Great show so far!

Also, in the pre-order, they do state that The Bleeding Monk and The Jon in train together before he became The Bleeding Monk. They state not to dig too deep in it, but it does show a reference point, and a difference of opinion

Re: Ninja-K #4 Discussion
Gage continues so with the fast momentum of this book, ably assisted by Ryp on art. I though the story of Ninja-G was interesting enough and adds extra impact to Ninjak’s incentive to end the Acclimation Bureau!
Side note: not sure if it was Gage who decided on the name ‘Acclimation Bureau’ as part of Britain’s MI6 agency, but in the UK we don’t really use the word ‘acclimation’, we’d say ‘acclimatisation’ Just saying!
Odd Americanised words aside , it was a good book, Ninjak has never been written so well.

Re: Ninja-K #4 Discussion
Great issue overall, and I was surprised to realize half way through that it was Ryp doing the art. I knew it felt familiar, but he really toned down the 'messiness' and dirt suspended in the air from his usual art style. There were still signs of it in the blood flying and all, but neat to see that he can draw it mostly clean too! I like both styles of art for different looks (Britania and L.o.t.G. should have that dirtier look), but I love that the artist has the skill to morph it either way!

Ryp got to do his patented "EEEaaarg!" face when the young Ninja-G stabs her suitor in the hand.Phoenix8008 wrote:Great issue overall, and I was surprised to realize half way through that it was Ryp doing the art.
