One of the better issues so far for the new Shadowman series. Provides more revealing details about the Loa, but more importantly lays the ground work for a way to actually tame the Loa, and maybe we'll finally see the VEI version of Jack Boniface finally take control instead of always fighting against the Loa

This was a great issue for me! Info on a past Shadowman, some tips and tricks that Jack can try to use to control the loa, and a possible new power of shadow-stepping to explore. Not bad at all. But I wanna see further back. I wanna see the history of the loa and what happened to get it banished from and hated by the other vodoo gods. That, plus these glimpses of other Shadowmen and their abilities, is all gonna add up to Jack being a really solid Shadowman once he returns from his trip through time.

Nice throwback issue of sorts. Shadowman from the forties, I liked it. Seems like this arc will be all about Jack learning the history of Shadowman and the Loa. That’s cool 8-)

I thought this issue was great. The series to date (all 4 issues we've had) have felt like the perfect balance between 90's Valiant and the 2012 relaunch. Looking forward to the next issue. :thumb:

I've been loving this series! I think Andy has done an amazing job picking up the pieces and putting them together again!

Also, hello, first post here. But I've been posting about Valiant a lot on cb r forums. I go by Power Torch there.
