This is the kind of issue that makes me look forward to reading the whole mini over again, reminded me that the 4-issue mini can still be something that builds to a fever pitch. Can't wait to see how it all turns out.

I’m behind on reading this mini - at this point I might just wait until #4 is out so I can read it all at once for the first time.

It might not seem like it sometimes, but I’m still a Valiant fan! I really just have *not* had time to devote to being on the podcast this year. In addition to that, it gets harder to stay in the right frame of mind for doing that show when I also get behind on reading.

I do feel like there is also less to be excited about overall lately, but I enjoy the top quality books like Ninja-K & Shadowman quite a bit.

Yeah there’s definitely a lull in excitement. Feels like a cross roads moment for VEI, the new launches from the new staff needs to deliver.

My comic book obsessions lately have gone into two specific streams - one of which goes back to the very core birthplace of the Valiant universe... *before* the Valiant U existed! That being the Marvel Comics New Universe line that technically was the first “Shooter-verse” from 1986.
