What
Was
That?!?
Rahal’s first issue or so on the book was ok but now it seems Kibblesmith is the only writer who can make these characters enjoyable. This was just nonsensical. If next issue wasn’t the final one them I’d drop the books now. Maybe these just aren’t the characters for Rahal to write, it’s difficult to do a funny/buddy book as an ongoing.
Q&W has joined my list of books to skip in future relaunches alongside Faith, Shadowman, Archer & Armstrong and anything by FVL.
Also I see the editing hasn’t improved, with 2 panels showing Woody’s missing (now you see me now you don’t) wristband.

This series has gotten so ridiculous, but honestly, I'm really enjoying myself. I like Rahal's sense of humor, and I would have loved to see what he could do with more than seven issues. Both characters get something interesting to do, the plot comes to a head nicely, and the artwork is solid. These six issues are still, without question, better than Asmus' ~17 issue run however.
