ENIAC #1
So I don't really have anything smart to add, but I will say that I *SQUEE* loved it, and I can't stop thinking about it. Feel free to leave your thoughts below.

I was wondering where to post about this. It was absolutely great, maybe better than anything Kindt / Brathwaite did at Valiant (which I loved their work there). Can't wait for the next issue.
That B story with Lapham is quite a mystery too!

It was incredible! I've read it 3 times already. It got me thinking that maybe Dinesh cut his teeth at Valiant like Shooter did at Marvel and New Universe and now this is Dinesh's pre-unity. The story was so deep like Shooter with Solar. Kindt did a great job asking 'even if we can do something, should we'?

Re: ENIAC #1
I really really enjoyed it.
I think first issues are notoriously hard to write, and give concessions to the writer.
Introducing the story, characters and storyline without giving to much away ~ but also enticing the reader to pick up the next issue.
I know speculators buy up first issues, but I wonder about how many readers drop the book after the first issue ~ not giving the series a chance. Not engaging readers enough to stay with the book.
Eniac was outstanding in this regard. I was supper happy with the story and art.

I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Re: ENIAC #1
I also enjoyed the book. I stayed away from preview pages but I figured I would like it. I find WWII history pretty interesting so the book starting out there is right in my wheelhouse. The story is off to a solid start, explaining what is going on without giving anything away. It’s going to be super interesting to see where it goes. Seeing nudity and f-bombs in a comic book is a new one on me. Not that I have a problem with it, but it was unexpected.
What did people think of the Hero Trade story in the back. It’s pretty weird, if you ask me. There was one panel in particular that took some studying to figure out what was going on. So that was kinda fun. Makes you work for it but doesn’t leave you completely in the dark.

No one told me that I would be on camera, so I’m picking my nose and surfing the damn web this whole episode.
Plus a surprise appearance by Grace who randomly walks in to tell me diner is ready and shuts off the lights lol.

Great job on the podcast, gentlemen! Got the first 20 minutes in, which was long enough to see the dinner proclamation and the lights being turned off.
Jesse, don’t feel bad because my wife claims I picked my nose on our first date. I defended it as a “flick” to scratch an itch and it clearly was not a “pick.” She has stuck with me for 24 years now.
Well done and I am looking forward to finishing the rest and future podcasts.

Re: ENIAC #1
Great to hear it’s a good read! It’s on my bucket list once the hype fades. So many great series coming out recently from those besides the big two, I buy what’s readily available from my local comic shop. Bad Idea is NOT an option. So, thank u Boom, Image, etc. Nocterra 1 was awesome!
Muse Rocks! Check out “The Handler”.

Same here. Interested in reading it but too much effort to get it in Singapore. I’ll read it at some point I am sure but likely when I buy a bad idea lot a few years in the future. Too difficult to get monthly Bad Idea issues as none of the 4 main shops here are carrying it.

As you’d expect Dinesh and crew (aka REAL Valiant) totally nail Eniac #1. Top quality story and art. Very pleased David Lapham is doing work for them too as he’s another one of my favourite creators.

Eniac #1 made it onto the CBSI top ten list, which I thought was cool!
