I really liked Whalesville, but I can't say Rocks & Minerals exactly blew my mind. $10 was a little much.

Both stories were a bit meh, but I loved the art. Whaleville's illustration, in particular, were amazing.

That said, I liked that Bad Idea went out on a limb to try something different. You don't see this type of work being released by any mainstream publisher.

$9.99 for 2 very irrelevant stories that feel like bedtime stories for toddlers (and they'd probably fall asleep quickly).

Devil’s advocate: wasn’t this book marketed as a comic unlike all other Bad Idea books and meant for younger children?
Egad, a base tone denotes a bad age!

It doesn't really matter.

It's just very boring.

+1

Whalesville story was the better of the 2, Rocks and Minerals story was a bit disjointed.

Overall, 3.5/5 (art being a big factor)
