Overall I’m enjoying this series so far. The least interesting part is the battles with the super soldiers on the loose…it’s too OTT to the point of being a bit silly. The story around the battles is quite good though and I’m liking how recently Valiant are again dropping in continuity references.
Art is pretty good too.
There’s a mention on spider-aliens at the end and XO appears in the next issue (please let it be good as XO has been garbage for ages!).
3.75/5 - as good as Lemire, no but best series since Rai by Dan Abnett (although I appreciate it’s a been a low bar since)
