I will start this thread by posting what is the coolest comic in my collection.

Some of you may have read my Emerald City ComiCon report on the CGC Boards in 2007 where I told the story of how I purchased the Ultimate Spider-Man 100 Clayton Crain sketch cover at the HERO Initiative auction. Since, Bendis & Bagley were at the show, I also got them both to sign it.

I was impressed by the back covers that several artists had done for their Ultimate Spidey books and since Clayton Crain was also at the show, I approached him about doing a back cover for my book. I even posted a survey where I asked CGC board members what they would like to see on the back cover. The winning idea was, "Ghost Rider riding off with Mary Jane on the back of his motorcycle"

Here is the final result from the amazing Mr. Crain!

I have always enjoyed the Beast from Marvel comics and his run in Amazing Adventures 11-17 where he first mutated into his furry form is a grail run for me.

This set won a CGC Award in 2007 for best presentation.

I am a huge X-Men fan. Putting together a top-level run of X-Men 94-143 was one of my collecting grails. This set won an award from CGC in 2008.
