No "dont read it" option? I guess you only want to hear from fans.

Honestly, I have made a mental note to go back in about 6 months and try to pick this up when it's cheaper.

I just don't read DC comics as a rule. That's just not who I am.

I have never read a DC book for as many consectutive issues as this, ever. The GL book is fantastic on so many levels.

i agree about dc not being as good of a comic company as it once was, but this sinestro war is possibly the best story put out by dc.

A question for those reading it:

Where would be a good place to start? Is this a series or is it only within GL or is it a bunch of one-shots?

its in every gl comic, but I hear it will eventually spread to the others. there's also the one shot sinstro war, which is part 1 to the series

Funny thing is, I was only able to find the 1st printing of #1 just today (after somehow missing it in my pre-order). It'll be ~ a week before it arrives.

Can't wait!

Good thing too, I was about to start kicking people in the knees!

I'm not the biggest Green Lantern fan, but I love crazy alien Lanterns (the less humanoid the better). The deluge of Lanterns and Sinestro Corps members is awesome. I love all the talk about destinies and fate. Plus the story is strong and exciting and they brought back the freaking Anti-Monitor This is fast becoming one of my favorite GL stories.

I thought it was already pretty cheap. None of them are really worth much. Or you mena get them under cover price.

Cause thats what I'm gonna do for sure

This story has been amazing. If Countdown was half as good, Countdown would be a much improved title.

Also, on DC's site under Origins they have Parallax's origin and it says Kyle is possessed by it now?

http://www.dccomics.com/heroes_and_vill ... s/parallax

Anyone know the explanation to this?

Kyle's mother was killed by Sinestro Corps member Despotellis, a living virus (pretty cool right?) Fear finally emerged when he found the truth about it from Sinestro and Parallax was able to take control of him like it did with hal.

This series just continues to amaze me. I was blown away by Green Lantern #24. My coworker was laughing at me because I was flipping through the book while we were bagging the comics, and he said that my face showed every emotion possible, sometimes multiples at once. I thought it was a great issue with a tremendous amount of emotional impact. I can't wait to read the next GLC to see more of the Sinestro Corps' attack on Earth.
