Are you talking about the prequel? That's a tough one since it was printed in Diamond's Previews.kjjohanson wrote:I'm not referring to a preview.Elveen wrote:Walking dead #109 has the preview pages, like Capes 1 and Agents #6 has preview pages for TWD.Ramses818 wrote:Don't leave us hanging... . Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Comics Of Any Era
That would be it. I was unaware of it until I read the first trade. It's a short story, and she's in it, but it's not an excerpt from the first issue. So not a preview in the way that Valiant does then. More like the DC Present Teen Titans preview (which is not what most people are thinking of when they say "preview")jeremycoe wrote:Are you talking about the prequel? Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Comics Of Any Era
Any thoughts on which of the new Marvel books will be showing up in this thread 6–12 months from now? I haven't had a good chance to read up on the new line yet, but I think anything connected to the Phase 3 movies might be a good bet.

Mostly books like that cool off a week or two after the initial movie announcement, until some other new announcement brings it back to the forefront.depluto wrote:Thank god ... Give it another week and Imagine Agents will have cooled off as well, probably. I should have sold my copy. Oh well.

In my internet travels I ran across the X-Force Megazine. It reprints New Mutants 98-100, and I'm sure the print-run is low. I find it to be an interesting book.

That is pretty neat, and of course there is another that collects X Factor run through 68 that collects another key Cable story line. May want to keep a eye for it. Key story +great art+ low print run...sounds good to me!
Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Comics Of Any Era
Disciples #1 (Black Mask Studios, Steve Niles script) is an interesting book. A TV deal for this title was in place, with Wes Craven involved, while it was still on the order form. When the first issue hit it was going for at least $8 or $10, then it died for awhile when the second issue was delayed.
I think it may be gaining some momentum again. I sold a ten-pack of issue 1 for 49.99 today on eBay, and the listing I've linked to below sold a bunch at 4.99 before dying, then it bounced back today, selling it's final 6 copies that were available to one buyer for 5.99 each. A check of the sold copies on this listing shows not a single sale occurred for about 2.5 months, then the pop of the last 6 copies at 5.99 each today.

Here's a copy of Disciples #1 that moved yesterday at 6.95.

All:
Is anyone aware of a reason that Bronze-age Red Sonjas would be picking up value and sales? I've been upgrading my barbarian book stock and I can't tell whether recent price movement concerning some of her issues is real or a misperception on my part.

Those books have a pretty low run in high grade. Especially the middle runs where sales started dying. They have been shuffled box to box. People are also realizing what deals Bronze Age books are right now.Tony_H wrote:Indeed! I know there is a lot of spec on that book, but it will depend on what they do to him. A.k.a. Red Hood syndrome. LolPhantom wrote:Batman 43 ? Batman 44 ~ first appearance and origin of Mr Bloom

Thanks! That makes a lot of sense. A friend of mine got a great deal on a copy of Amazing Adventures 11--a Bronze key--just last night.Ramses818 wrote:Those books have a pretty low run in high grade.
