Image Portacio Covers
I have come across a few of these over the years however have never gone the distance and done a buy of the Portacio Covers that go together from 1994 that Image did across their titles (the ones with the weird blue-ish backgrounds).
Anyone have copies of these or done a complete graded collection of them? For anyone who has done this: Is this a hard target to set for oneself?

I see them in boxes at shows. Not plentiful, but available.

I have several. Not sure exactly which ones. I know for sure I have multiples of the Team 7. Like Elveen said, you can find them at shows if you look around. I think it is certainly doable.

The comics they are asking about is the Wildstorm variants. At the time they were 1:10. They covered Wildcats, Wetworks, Stormwatch, Gen 13, Deathblow, are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

The others are Kindred and Union. Easy to find.

Here's what I found.
Alone, listless, breakfast table in an otherwise empty room.

Re: Image Portacio Covers
They're definitely doable. I have been snapping them up whenever I see them in the dollar boxes and put them for sale together whenever I assemble a complete set. So far I have noticed that Kindred, Deathblow and Union are the three books that are harder to come by compared to the rest.

Gen 13 seems to be the easiest for me.

Whoa. I have almost all of these. I might try to dog them out. I won't be selling them though. Sorry. I definitely don't have the Kindred issue.

I bought a some of these a few years back when I got an urge of nostalgia for the 'good old days.' Turns out they weren't that good. The writing sucked.

I think that's why the OP is considering slabbing them so he doesn't have to read them . . . .Dr Noel wrote:I bought a some of these a few years back when I got an urge of nostalgia for the 'good old days.' Turns out they weren't that good. The writing sucked.
