How much value does a double cover add to a comic?

I think it depends on the rarity of the defect. Valiant double covers are very rare. I have a few, and will pay up to $20 for an ungraded copy.

The older the book, the more common the defect. I have more Gold Key double covers than anything else.

Did you find a double cover recently Mr. Brand? Please share...

They generally sell for a small premium, I quite enjoy them and always hold on to such finds. I've located about 12 double covers and one triple cover (All Star Squadron 67).

Agree with NycJadie, Valiant don't pop up often. I have:

1 old school Valiant (X-O 54)
&
1 Acclaim (Shadowman V3 #6)

I actually don’t remember why I started this thread. I think I was considering buying a slab of a double cover issue.
