What Books Do You Pick Up Monthly?

Post by Serpymatt »

Hiyas all... I know we're on a Valiant board, but what about your other reading habits? What other books do you pick up on a regular basis?

For me, I've swung heavily into DC which is odd for me since as I grew up, I was a HUGE Marvel fan boy :) My monthly titles are

Teen Titans
Firestorm
GI Joe
All Star Superman / Batman
Infinite Crisis
pretty much anything with Deathstroke or Doctor Doom
Friday the 13th (horror fan :))
Justice
Transformers
Ironman

I'm also curious about Marvel Zombies but haven't made it to the comic shop in a month or so to clean out my pull folder :)

Amazing Spiderman
Ultimate Spiderman
Ultimate Fantastic Four
Captain America
Punisher
Supreme Power and the various mini series
X-Men: The End
Marvel Zombies
Punisher/Bullseye
Astro City
Conan
Hellboy
All Star Batman And Robin

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

Marvel Zombies is my fav right now. If you can find Ultimate Fantastic Four #20-23 start with those. After the Zombies mini the story is going to pick back up in Ultimate FF again.

I've whittled it down from about 7 titles to these:

Conan
Captain America
Ultimates 2 (which isn't monthly it seems)

And that's about it!

I'm still big on Marvel after all these years. I get a bunch of their mainstream titles (Spidey, FF, Avengers, Iron Man) and I love the Ultimate line.

I think another company picked it up, might be a few months before we see #4 though. This is what I've heard, anyways......

Sorry folks, it's coming out no matter what:
What Books Do You Pick Up Monthly?
I usually pick up my dictionary 3-4 times a week - does that count?

Does anyone know if Loveless is any good?

It's a title that looks good, but I don't want to gamble $3-4 bucks without a recommendation.
