Here is a comparative photos of the two different portfolios released - Not only are the comics variants of each portfolio - each portfolio comes with different lithos as well.

I only have a few. I otherwise have an all-but-1-issue to go set of CGW/DHH. It's either 17 or 18 of Ghost v.2 that I need. I'll check when I get back to the box later tonight.

I was looking at the CGW list on page 1 of this thread and noticed the "Mecha" series mention from '87 on there:

http://www.darkhorse.com/Comics/90-008/Mecha-1

Is that title early really connected to the Mecha character that appears later on in CGW?

The CGW mentions on here are tweaking me into completing the whole CGW run....

I thought it was the same character, but someone else would have to confirm that.

I found this info on the Mile High description page for the Golden City: Mecha book, which is where Mecha was brought into the CGW:
GOLDEN CITY: MECHA (#6)
Sixteen-issue series, color, 16 pages, $1.00 cover
Mecha is a character who previously appeared in his own Dark Horse series., and also in DARK HORSE PRESENTS. While the character remains fairly similar, with a golden robot-like appearance, it is the intention of the Dark Horse staff to not link the previous continuity to the present story. In this issue Mecha meets Grace, is allowed to join Catalyst, and battles Warmaker Prologue story by Mike Richardson, art by Lee Weeks. Main story by Barbara Kesel, pencils by Chuck Wojtkiewicz, inking by John Lowe. Cover by Dave Johnson and Karl Story.

I owned that Mecha series and if you ignore the fact that there are other Mechas (Russian & US - Which according to CGW there aren't any others) - a major space invasion (Never mentioned in CGW) Destruction of San Fransisco (Never happened in CGW) - the suit is completely different - the pilot can leave the suit at any time (CGW Mecha can't) - and the original wearers name was Terry and the current wearer is Arthur then you could say they are related.

Cool. I haven't read that early one yet. Maybe i'll get it for the hell of it. I thought it was a precursor to the CGW character like the "Mayhem" mini series was to the "Mask" character.

"Brass" is another character from Wildstorm that looks alot like that early "Mecha" too. :atomic:

Eh, more like 'defined' rather than 'updated', I think.

This type of info is so important to what we are trying to slowly achieve here.

The pre-CGW "Mecha" character also appeared in the "Mayhem" mini-series too:

I saw some of those yesterday. I remember disliking the original version, so I didn't pick them up.

Good thing that Mecha has nothing to do with CGW

Ok this may need to be added, but not 100% sure. Does anyone have a copy of it and check. The reason I suspect it might need to be added is by looking in the lower left corner. That back of the head looks very familiar, I mean "X" marks the spot right? :?

Also below definitely needs to be added. Heroes & Heroines #4 - Dark Horse Supplement.

Where did this come from ?

The image has the words heroes-heroines, role playing game, supplement and vol 1 paperback in it. It may be indicative of it's nature.

The other image in your post definitely looks like and is probably X but we will need some type of showing between the cover or a story (hence the words 'short stories' on the cover more than likely).

I found the role playing handbook browsing Ebay. As far as the other that is why I asked does anyone have it because I have no idea what story may be in it and everywhere I looked it doesn't give a complete listing of what's inside.

It has a "Ghost" story in there from "The Decade of Dark Horse" mini series.

I don't see the "X" character other than on that trade cover.

I just noticed the "San Diego Comic Con Comics" #3 & 4 aren't on the list. They have 2 b&w stories for Barb Wire and Motorhead:

A Decade of Dark Horse #2 (of 4) added to the list but I am not so sure about a 'role playing game supplement'. If it has new material...

It has character bios. :?

Dark Horse 20 is on the list and it has 2 preview pages that appear from the actual comic released - nothing new. So why not?

Because it is a source of character bios for the CGW line that cannot be found in any other form. Could be considered in the same vein as DC's Who's Who or the Marvel Universe Handbook even though it is an RPG book. Besides where else is there a book with CGW bios? :hm:
