I like this line of thinking. Though I'm totally down with dropping DF editions off the list too, but I do get the impression DF works directly with the publishers and creators for the books they offer. Dynamic Forces always reminded me of Graphitti Designs in that way.

Though mostly dealing with collected editions, and possiblynot a lot of DU stuff, do we count the Graphitti Designs editions?

I thought Graphitti Designs was defunct but I was wrong:
http://www.graphittidesigns.com/

Click on books to see some of the limited HC's and TPB's they offer. You'll notice several licensed products from DC, Oni Press, and more.
They have always been big on T-Shirts also.

They had made some nice hardcovers in the past. I lusted after a Watchmen HC for years that went for high dollar in the aftermarket. After the Absolute Edition came out, reprinting the same material licnesed to the Graphitti edition, I no longer worried about it.

This is kind of a moot discussion, since I'm unaware of any Graphitti Designs work related to Dead Universes, which actually surprises me. I can't imagine at some point they didn't license something (books or T-shirts) related to Marvel 2099, Valiant, or Malibu.

I'll dig some more and see what I can find.

I am all for keeping DF books in the lists. They have much better establish print runs and the market places a discrete and distinct premium on DF signed editions versus other signed editions (short of CGC Signature Series).

I am also all for adding this Continuity comic to the list. Just because.

I actually came across an old checklist I got from a 2099 website and
Marvel Age #117 thru #121 had one page mini comics in them(Not Sure if these were just the first page of the first issues or not as I am still searching & in need of these issues)
#117(Introduced World of 2099)
#118(Spider Man 2099)
#119(Ravage 2099)
#120(Doom 2099)
#121(Punisher 2099)

Also if you want to have everything 2099 book wise there were the Official Handbooks of the Marvel Universe Master Editions #33(Spiderman 2099 cover & profile), #34(Punisher 2099 cover & profile), #35(Doom 2099 profile), #36(Ravage 2099 profile)
Spider Man #1/2(Wizard Exclusive, SpiderMan 2099 appearance)
Thor Corps #2(Panel Appearance by Spidey 2099)
Thor Corps #3(Guest Appearance by Spidey 2099)
X-Force #92(Halloween Jack, from X-Men 2099 Story)

Marvel Vision #1(X-Nation Preview, sketchbook with new information)
Marvel Vision #2(Tom Peyer talks with Lia Pelosi about Doom 2099/Fast Forward 2101)
Marvel Vision #3(Ron Lim talks with Lia Pelosi about Spider Man 2101)
Marvel Vision #4(FF 2099 Preview of unpublished#6 with sketchbook)
Marvel Vision #7(Preview of 2099 World Of Tomorrow)
Marvel Vision #20(Greatest Stories Never Told: Galahad 2099)

So if 2099 is currently being printed as 2099, is it still a DU? :hm:

:hm: This debate is going on with the DC Milestone Characters at this time also. I'm not sure if these are going to be in the same continuity as the original series though but it could be up for debate :thumb:

Might as well. Doom 2099 might actually save the line from itself.

Also - I am so going to order this series.

Want a new 2099 challenge? I noticed my Spider-man 40 & 46 and X-Men 33 & 34 are $1.50 (newsstand?) price variants.

A new challenge for those with complete collections :?

Dude, you're killing me, just killing me. do you think it's safe to assume that Spider-Man 2099 #41-45 also have newsstand price variants as well?

MAN, it is hard to sometimes draw the line... I even have some books that the newsstand barcode is in black and others where the barcode is BLUE. Do was mark THAT as a variant as well ?

But I am thinking that is a distinctive change, just like when we had the Visitor VS The Valiant Universe price variants.

We can add them as we find them and have eyes on.
