I think I will have to make a Crossgen list to fill in the holes around those series.
I am trying to get all the TPBs and wouldnt mind getting the Forge and Edge issues but only IF I could get them very cheap like at a $1.00 of something like that.

Not as much of a challenge as you might think. Round these parts, a local dealer holds a "CHUD" con once or twice a year. "Comics Here Under a Dollar". There are always Forge and Edge tpbs to be found in many dealers dollar boxes.
19) VALIANT WILL RETURN.
It'll be a celebration of complete chaos and destruction.
It'll be a glorious time of weeping. The earth will shift on its axis.

crossgen is a little larger than those two, but you should be able to find most of the crossgen on the CHEAP and since they are more recent I would think more available. :thumb:

I have a few Defiant and Broadway issues that I am looking to get rid of... I always save these issues just in case someone on the boards need one or a lot.

I just like helping people complere their sets. Lord knows that I have been helped enough for free. If I have it in duplicate, then I have no problems giving it away for free but I DO love to trade as well. One time I did a trade for 28 books and got three in return but I was cool with that.

I think the emphasis here is to help others complete their DU collections (yes, this includes Valiant and Acclaim as well... I just sent out Shadow Man Vol 3, #3, #5 and #6 to a board member... love being able to do this) !!! :thumb:

I think that I am down to about 60 books to being comlete on my Crossgen universe and this is one that I cannot WAIT to finish so that I can start reading it as it is ALL NEW to me.

Anyone who plans or has read CG from alpha to omega, how did you do it ? By title or by release date on all books. Don't forget those Dragon's Lair, He-man and Snake Plisskin books. :thumb:

I remember reading something about an unlying 'sigil' story, i.e. everyone had a 'sigil' of some sort on their body, some characters where these 'elder' characters and thought that there might be some superbly interwoven 'sigil' related story because you had to look for clues throughout the books.

This is a reason I have organized the list in a sigil centric and non-sigil centric list (Sojourn, Ruse vs Lady Death, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang).

So, I shall attempt the reading by title... anybody have those remaining 60 issues that I need ? I JUST finished my common Continuity Comics line and plan on reading it right away (that damn Bucky O'Hare #3 was killing me but I got that in the mail yesterday) but would bump that right away to read CrossGen first.

hehehehe ok ok guys, I will try and get one together tonight. I slept for over 11 hours last night and didnt get a thing done. It is rare for me to sleep that long no less without waking up. I've got some medical stuff going on but I will relate that later... nothing going on tonight so that should give me time to put a list together. I will start as soon as I get home.

We are having a luncheon/fund raiser at the Outback today during lunch, I will lead all you Deadites know how it goes and how much we raise.

I'll get on that list !!!

probably just wasting my time since I think we all need the same later issues of Sojourn, but here's what I need. Moneywise, I'm really not looking to pay more than $1 an issue, but I would be willing to give more value in trade if anyone has these. I need:

Sojourn #20, 23, 26-32

I liked Cross Gen. I mostly bought Mystic though I liked her sister a lot more than the main charcter. And Ruse. I even got one of the Ruse TBS's well till they tried the lost world stuff. I came back when the Mystry stories returned.

Do you use ebay search word lists to find issues on ebay?
Was looking a Dracos thread upstairs.

To be fair i havent got similar thing to what greg made for valiants but it wouldnt be hard to do.

I use key words like limited, ltd, gold, foil, holofoil, variant etc

that might help in the meantime till someone give us a better one.

cheers
