No surprise there. Those are the only two books of any significant value that Broadway produced.

They should really be worth more considering how horribly rare they are.

Nah. I think Earl is just a big fan of "Ctrl C" and "Ctrl V".

Rare perhaps yes... but also there is demand. Just how many folks out there are crusing for these books ? And just because it is 'rare' I still would not give much for one.
Same with me. I would like to get the full set but I can live without if it's going to cost me silly money. - Always living in hope I find a 'hidden' MOB on ebay someday.

I paid $4.00 for my first Fatale TPB and $2.50 for the latest one... thats about as much as I would ever go for one of these. I might go... MIGHT go $30 for a MOB. yeah it might be 'rare' but I just would not want to waste the money on a book that well... is not really a book. I would be too tempted to do the coloring portion... mmmmmm brick red Crayola crayon, I like that color. LOL

I recently bought 2 sealed bags containing 5 of the black & white previews.

One has 2 books: Powers that Be 2 and Shadow State 1.
The other bag contains 3 books: Fatale 1, Powers that Be 3, and ? Shadow State 2? Can anyone confirm the middle book without my opening the bag?

I already had all 6, so once I confirm this, my loose dupes will be availabe for trade (or sold cheaply) to anyone in need.

I have the same 3 pack you have hulk181. Powers that be # 3 on one side, and Fatale # 1 on the other, with Shadow State # 2 in the middle.
It took me awhile but I moved them around to where you could see the one in the middle.Good find. :thumb:

Cool, David and thanks! I was trying the same thing but getting nowhere and gave up after awhile :!:

That means my dupes are Shadow State 1,2; Fatale 1; and Powers that Be 2,3. If anyone needs these preview versions hit me with a PM.

Well it was lying in the box with all the Defiant stuff I took pics of. I think it was sent to the store back in the day but I really don't remember. It's 6 pages b&w folded twice with a spot for a stamp and address on the back.

My LCS has a Fatale/Broadway dry erase board.

I noticed it the other day when I was leaving. Been walking past the thing for years, never actually noticed what was on it. He uses it to advertise upcoming Magic the Gathering games.

If I was you, I'd offer to get him a new dry erase board if he would trade the old one for it. That's a neat item. :thumb:

I'd be happy to trade you for it if you can manage to get him to sell it to you! :thumb:

Upon further reflection, I am not too sure I want to be involved in shipping something like that.

I think Ed would be the one you would talk to.

I understand that, I had a heck of a time finding a good price shipping a standee to Zero a while back. Those shippers really try to get you on the price when it's a large sized item.

I think they're actually fairly common, I would say at least double the value of the regular issues, but I wouldn't pay more than a buck or two for them.

And yet I still need five of them.

You need five? There's only six of them! Once I get my comics out of storage, I'll have to look to see what extras I have.

I'm looking to buy a set of Broadway commons (and any cheap uncommons). Anybody have a bunch? (That feels like a stupid question on this board.)

What do the COAs on the signed books look like? I just got a signed Knights and it just came with what looks like a xeroxed slip of paper thanking whoever for buying it and explaining the name change. Nothing more official looking.
