Yeah, but you have to have a mushroom to make sure you complete the jump.

Still working on Skyward Sword. It's a lot harder than I remember Zelda games being in the past.

Now that I have some 'free time' I feel like playing Batman Arkham City or even Mass Effect 2... (shaking head as I am SO far behind)

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at least until March 6, 2012 because that is when Mass Effect 3 finally arrives.

Just finished up Wolfenstien on the 360. Fun game overall with decent graphics and story. The shooting is pretty standard, but the special powers added a nice twist. My main gripe is that you find yourself treading the same ground way too much in order to complete the various missions. I imagine it was a cost cutting decision, but it could have made the difference between just a fun game and a stand out first tier title. Oh well, I still recommend it if you can pick up cheap.

The Mass Effect 3 demo on Xbox 360 and PS3. If the game is as cool as this demo is this going one great game.

Minecraft is great! I was really hooked on that a few months ago... I had houses scattered all over the world (because I would get lost and couldn't figure out how to get back  ).

My Digital Rhetoric prof said he won't be replaying that until summer, and only then if nothing else is taking up his time. Muttered something about a glitch and "gotta get everything."

Mass Effect 3 which is a great game with a bunch of weird, stupid, and "WTF?!" kind endings.

A good portion of the way through The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Bethesda really does an amazing job with these types of games. The attention to detail and amount of things to do are almost unbelievable. Very similar to the way things are done in Fallout, so it was fairly easy to pick up on what to do and how to play. I do think that the leveling up system is not really proportioned as well as it is in Fallout though. It takes much longer to build up points and you can be well into the game and still be at a fairly low level. Repeatedly looking for enemies to fight/use magic abilities just to rack up points gets a little tedious after a bit. It should be more in tune with how many objectives or ground you cover in the game. I hope they have addressed this issue better in Skyrim.

The other issue is the very noticeable lack of voice actors. It seems like the same 8 people are doing all the voices for the entire game. At least they could have hired people who can do multiple characters/accents without sounding exactly the same.

Aside from those two minor complaints, it's a very well done game and I highly recommend it for those who have not played it yet.
