I've got XBMC running on an Acer Aspire Revo now. Ubuntu 9.10 with XBMC live installed on a SD Memory card (no hard drive makes it quieter and cooler). Using an old Microsoft Media Center remote I had laying around.
ATOM processor and Nvidia ION Gaphics, gives me full 1080p rendering capability.
I've got the higher end model (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... -_-Product) but I here that even the single core model can handle 1080p with ease.

How about this little guy?tssgery wrote:That it is. Installing XBMC on the flash card took all of about 15 minutes... For $300 it can't be beat (except maybe by the $200 model).Heath wrote:Wow, that's a pretty nice little box!

Don't even worry about putting a hard drive in it. A little RAM, and XBMC on an SD card and you're good to go!

It's back... and better than ever! The new Commodore 64 is a modern functional PC as close to the original in design as humanly possible. It houses a modern mini-ITX PC motherboard featuring a Dual Core 525 Atom processor and the latest Nvidia Ion2 graphics chipset. It comes in the original taupe brown/beige color, with other colors to follow.
The new Commodore 64 also features a slot or tray load DVD R/W(Bluray optional) on the left side of the unit.
The base Commodore 64 comes with 2 GB of DDR3 memory and is expandable to 4 GB.
A multi format card reader/writer and a USB slot are provided on the right side of the unit. There are an additional 4 USB slots on the rear of the unit for all your peripheral needs.
The classic power light is now the power button.
The new Commodore 64 can be connected to the latest televisions and monitors, and can deliver 1080p HD quality video playback and 6 Channel High Definition Audio for an excellent home theater experience. It also incorporates wireless n wifi for exceptional internet video streaming quality.
Play all your favorite 8-bit era games within seconds of turning the Commodore 64 on, by either selecting the C64 icon from the boot menu to run a C64 emulator directly, or from a media center program within our own Commodore Operating System, Workbench 5, which includes screenshots, descriptions and ratings.

I have three of these already. Why do I need one that plays DVDs?Heath wrote:Ok, THIS is what I want sitting under my TV running XBMC!

I don't know if this will help or not, but Auto-Installer Deluxe 1.0 can be downloaded from the Xbins FTP. The easiest way to access it is to download this program:Heath wrote:Do any of you other Xbox modders have a copy of the Auto-Installer Deluxe disc that you can send me? Trying to download it has proved rather difficult. All I can find are torrents that aren't seeded or a bunch of rar files on a site like rapid-share that just sends me in circles.
http://www.360-hq.com/uploads/12/0/xbins_downloader.zip
Load the xbins.bat file, it'll pop up a command prompt menu that will eventually launch Filezilla's FTP program connected to xbin's ftp.
Next, go to:
/XBOX/Console Based Applications/apps/Auto Installers/Auto Installer Deluxe/_old/
The first file is Auto-Installer Deluxe v1.0.zip. They also offer torrents for later versions (up to 2.11), but I don't know how well the connections are. The xbins.org website also offers some update files, but I couldn't tell you how they work either.
Anyways, hope that helps. The xbins FTP is a great source for all kinds of homebrew software for PS3, WII, Xbox and Xbox 360.
