Free online games that you play.

Basically in thread title.

I am interested as I am not a 'gamer'.
I play no games accept board games with my kids.

Been crazy busy, and sleep well or basically drop dead in bed ~ and try and get as much sleep as I can.
Recently, as in last to weeks, I have been taking it easy ~ have free time ( like today I had 5 hours with the family).

Now I have been getting up at 0300 and be awake for 2/3 hours. I cannot work ~ so I read ~ which is cool :thumb:
But thought I might give a computer game a go.

I did play on DS Pofesser Layton curous village ~ which was cool.
Wondering about more interaction with charactors ~ an adventure rather than just killing random people.
Just would like some advice or recommendations
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

boringrpg.com - just click a button, you will wait longer between clicks as the timer increases, but otherwise, it is truly a no-brainer of a game.

(and being there got me laid!) :twisted:

That's the only one I play - and admittedly, the chat is what that 'game' is all about.

It doesn't hurt that I am the #1 player there... :D

The only online games I play are Zombie Pandemic and Urban Dead. Both are similar to board games and you can get some good intetaction with the other players on Urban Dead.

I've been playing DC Universe Online a lot for the PS3 recently, and I actually think there's a Shadowman reference in it.

on the create a character screen, one of the options for face gear is an item called "Valiant" and it looks like Shadowman's Mask (2 points on top 2 on bottom, covers the top half of your face)

If anybody else plays this, check it out and tell me what you think

Unded up buying a game.
But had problems with it.
I have used it, but not a 'gamer', so far 25 playing time over two weeks.

Still have not signed up to Urban Dead ~ but looks cool.

There are a ton of free games out there. I don't play games much anymore, but most of these sites have a bunch of games on them.

I know I have a big list somewhere here with a bunch more, I'll see if I can track it down as well.

addictinggames.com
Armorgames.com
Gamebrew.com
Kongregate.com
popcap.com
http://www.xgenstudios.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (STICK RPG, I played this ALOT at a previous job, they have v2 out now)
http://www.crazymonkeygames.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.fantasticcontraption.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Where are we going and why am I in this hand-basket?

I assume you mean PC games, not console games with online.

The only one I play with any regularity is Quake Live, excellent first person shooter and is played "in-browser." Requires a plug-in, though (I think I have it installed and working on Firefox, not sure if I have it installed for the the other two browsers). Graphics are somewhat better than Quake 2 or whatever. It also ranks your playing skill to make it easier to find matches with people around your skill level. Very fast-paced and cut throat game, though.

http://www.quakelive.com/#!home" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's free but does have options to get a "pro" account with access to a few more arenas. BUT if you're in a game with someone else who has access to the arenas you can still play, I believe, so I certainly haven't bothered to pay for anything. There are few "in-game" ads but they are not like, pop-ups. For instance, on the walls in the arenas there will be ads for new video games that are coming out and such (I remember the last time I played there were ads for Dishonored).

I am such a workoholic.
I want to play games ~ I just cannot.
When I have spare time, I pop in here or otherwise just continue working.

I did play rocksmith for another hour about 3 weeks ago. I really enjoy it.
When I get up in the middle of the night ~ I wish I could play rocksmith.
Recently I just end up lying in bed (sick) trying to get enough shut eye to work the next day.

I suppose some people are gamers and others are not :?
