Some foreign Gold Key comics
There was some talk about the foreign Gold Keys so I took pictures of mine. Hopefully it gives a sense of how widespread they were. I am not sure about where they are all from, and there were many published that I have not acquired yet.
Some Mexican and one German Solar comics:

Swedish Solar comics and one French Solar album:

One French-Canadian Turok comic, some Frence Turok comics and two French Turok Albums:

French title with different Gold Key characters:

Australian Magnus comics:

French Magnus comics:

French Magnus albums:

French Magnus comics bound with new cover:

German Magnus comics, also a probably unoffical Australian bound collection, a possibly Canadian Magnus comic and a Dutch Magnus comics:

Swedish Magnus comics:

British pulps and hard-covers that contained many mixed characters, including Magnus. Mainly reprints (possibly with rearranged panels) but in rare cases original stories. Usually each story spread over several issues.

Danish Magnus, Solar and Turok comics:

- Especially "dude." And "balls." Those terms work in the tech industry.

Re: Some foreign Gold Key comics
I think I may have a couple of Brazilian Portuguese GK reprints somewhere. I will keep an eye out.

Thanks
Would be great if you stumble across them and post images here.

Definitely Portuguese language. The (re-)publisher is EBAL, a Brazilian publisher of comics. I don’t know how widely EBAL publications circulated in Portugal but the cover price is denominated in Cruzeiro Novos, a short-lived Brazilian currency from the late 60s.

These are amazing!
I put together a full set of the Mexican (Domingos Allegres) Magnus reprints (# 1-28) a few years ago, but the average grade is maybe 3.0. Added some French and Turkish reprints as well.
But your Magnus books alone put mine to shame. And I've never seen the Solar or Turok books!
No high-rez photos, but you can see a representative sample in my CGC gallery.
The primary photo is my slabbed U.S. Magnus copy (average CGC 9.6). The secondary photo is of a foreign version (Mexican, French, or Dutch):

Re: Some foreign Gold Key comics
How did you get into these?
Are there any particular foreign language versions you've found more challenging than the others?

Re: Some foreign Gold Key comics
Thanks. I acually have some more on the way.
Your collection is also amazing. And I love how you put them in pairs. Now I want to do the same, just that it means I have to take individual photos of them all...No high-rez photos, but you can see a representative sample in my CGC gallery. I'm a completionist...How did you get into these?
It depends on how common web sales are in different countries. It's just the Swedish and French ones that I have bought in person. Most difficult is to find many at once. One can always pick individual copies, but I am too lazy for that. So Danish, Australian and Dutch have been toughest for me. Then there are probably many I don't even know about. It's been a great help to look at the Grand Comics Database to get clues for things to search for.Are there any particular foreign language versions you've found more challenging than the others?
