Valiant Era Companion #1
Okay...
After reading Solar 10-11 yesterday, I decided to bust out Valiant Era Companion #1 since it looked to be related to that story.
Is it just me, or did that comic suck? Lol...it just seemed sloppily put together and am I wrong that the story contradicted Gilad in the Solar books? In Solar 10 or 11, Gilad mentions that he and Harada are "friends," yet in the companion, the two act as if they never met? Am I missing something?

Re: Valiant Era Companion #1
The companion seems to be written with this in mind, but they didn't pull it off completely. That must be why Gilad asks for Nicoletti's memory to be cleaned, just to avoid a contradiction with the meeting of the two in Solar 10. The idea must be that the companion shows how they became friends, but since the companion takes place maximum a few months before Solar 10, it doesn't feel completely realistic.JonesyAZ wrote:am I wrong that the story contradicted Gilad in the Solar books? None of the companion pieces were impressive imo. They were just supposed to give someone who owned all those issues an incentive to but the trades so that they didn't miss anything.
Was the blue harby 0 only available through the trade? If so, that would be my one exception-even though it's a reprint!

I got that issue when I won a huge lot of Eternal Warrior comics off e-bay. And so far it was the worst thing I have read from Valiant.

What are the companions? Are they just like a database type of book or an actual comic with word balloons, etc?
