I think there was a scan and discussion about this panel
from Magnus #1 on the "old messageboard"...
but it was lost with the server.

I figured I'd post it here again...

Nah.

This guy's too short.

Plus, why would an immortal wear glasses?

So people don't confuse him with Superman? :D

i think it was supposed to be him...maybe a "prototype" aram.
i think they did a little "tweaking" on him when his book came out hence the height difference. as for the glasses...a disguise baby! hey if those dumb *SQUEE* at the daily planet can't find superman when he's on the freakin' staff then no one will ever find aram 2000 years in the future with those keen specs on.

crazy? like a fox baby!

In the Only the Valiant (Episode 22) interview with Jim Shooter we learn that the reason He looks like Aram and Don Perlin is that Perlin designed Armstrong and based him on himself a little.

Cool beans!

"You gave me a nickle?"

I'm not sure what he meant by that, but it sounded funny.
