Yawn.

Well, it's nice to see something different from Marvel, even if it's the same concept of old is new again. Figured some New Universe lovers here might be interested though..

I think it sounds boring.

I was excited until I read the article. Please understand that I don't automatically dismiss these new titles just because they're new but this sounds too much like a pitch for a CW teen drama for me to be interested (remember the very brief "Guardians" comic series...me either).

I hope I'm wrong.

Sounds like they plan to explore some of the New Universe-centric stuff with these characters. Maybe even bring in some other NU concepts/characters. I'd pay money for that, at least for a bit, even if the general format didn't excite me. If they get enough support, maybe some other NU material/characters can get resurrected.

As much as I'm keen to support any reappearance of New Universe characters in general, this doesn't sound remotely appealing to me as an overall concept for a book.

My wife likes to draw stuff too, and she is better than me! [I'm very proud of her]... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sara-Dec ... ref=stream" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I think with Ultimate universe dying off after Secret Wars, Marvel is probably desperate to latch onto some kind of secondary money-well. It might be a little premature to try and relaunch the New Universe entirely, but Starbrand & Nightmask might be a good start

Marvels keeping battle world alive for a bit in several of the ongoings so I think battle world is the replacement
