They are not called that and Star Wars was ''stolen'' from all over the place, but...
in Rai 13 and the new Blodshoot 4001 preview we saw a lot of lightsaber looking things.

Probably not. A "laser" sword in many forms and fashions have existed in media long before and after Star Wars. The Mobile Suit Gundam franchise has "beam sabers" which are pretty much giant robot sized light sabers.
Kamen Rider Black RX (Or Masked Rider as he was infamously called in the States) has a light saber called "Revolcane".

Besides I doubt Disney is as anal as say Games Workshop who literally copyrighted the phrase "Space Marine"

- I'm just glad it was pretty good, long and drawn out. (that's what she said.)

Star wars borrowed(or plainly stole) much from Asimov and other scifi greats and mythology. About the only things unique are some of the names. Lucas did make it his own though and made it universally appealing to the masses.
It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

Won't be an issue unless they call them lightsabers.
Ironically, Lucas himself seems to only ever call them "laser swords" when referring to his own stinking movies...

He's probably worried that Disney will sue him if he uses the termBaramos wrote:Won't be an issue unless they call them lightsabers.
