I saw that on ebay ... in my opinion it takes big balls to pay that much for an ungraded book.

Anyone see that other platinum that was listed for 5k cgc 9.8? Did not sell, at least not on ebay ... I'm waiting for it to be relisted.

I still have my order in with fate that I will come across a copy at no more than $1,000 ... so be it, thus it is ... it will be mine.

Maybe that same guy that was paying crazy prices years ago for some of the rarer Acclaim stuff (aug something, can't remember the ebay ID exactly)?

Well, I think if that is the case that he got a good deal. That book is about to become all but impossible to obtain in the near future the way things are looking right now.

Hell, it took me two years of hunting and being lucky enough to login to VF just 1 minute after Eleven posted his copy for sale!

A new listing just up ebay ... I'm kind of excited about it ... not enough to buy it at this point though. I'm still waiting for the universe to honor my WILL and bring me a copy for under $1000. :lol:
