With VEI's announcement of the brushed metal cover, we can now reveal the last part of the #1-3 All Cover set. The VEI brushed metal cover will be super rare, with retailers having it provide a significant commitment to X-O #1 to get ONE copy, and no more than one. We wanted to do something special that everyone willing to commit to our package will find special.

plz lmk what the comic would cost as well...why settle for a 90% set?

I don't think there is a comic book store in all of Washington State that'll drop that kind of cash in order to get just one book. Guess I gotta try, but $1k is steep!

I'm in Washington also and I also agree about the part about a shop ordering that much.

I would even pay for the shop to order the 500 just to get the 1:500 and 1:50.

It just comes down to do I tryst the shop to hold their end of the deal lol

Ed, I don't think it gets said enough, but thanks. Thanks for working with us on such an item like this. I know there is still more to come regarding XO, and most people can't just drop $500 like that. Working with us so that we can build that kind of money up is fantastic. It allows the lower and mid level collectors to actually participate, it's awesome!

What if the print was adhered to one of the comics?

Like ... here's the print that you guys paid $500 for, but here it is on the cover of one of the comics ala Bloodshot/Turok VH1. Doodadded up even with embossed inner pages and a certificate ala VfVSS?

Told you it was a crazy thought ... could anyone make this happen?
