SHADOWMAN drum heads & original art sale
Hey all, A Sound of Thunder (my band, which recorded the Shadowman concept album "Tales from the Deadside") is selling our Shadowman symbol drum heads. We're doing this to fund our own graphic novel which is due out next month, as we have a large balance to pay off with the printer. Only two of these drum heads exist. They are 24" across. We used them all over the US for two years while playing shows and promoting the Shadowman album, and they appear in several of our music videos as well. They would look absolutely awesome mounted on someone's wall. We'll ship them with a letter of authenticity specifying sale direct from the band to you, and we'll sign them too if you want. They're being offered for $300 through our Kickstarter for our graphic novel, here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/as ... -and-album
The graphic novel features art from a bunch of Valiant talent, including a 10-page story by Bob Hall, plus art from Ben Templesmith, Roberto de la Torre, Barry Kitson, and Rafer Roberts. Brian Reber colors one of the stories as well. We're selling the graphic novel, plus the original art pages, and artist's proofs (since we don't have the original art for a few of the stories). Most of the original art is still available with the exception that a bunch of the Bob Hall pages sold immediately. So if you're interested in a Bob Hall page, get in there soon!

Message me through the campaign if they are still available towards the end. If they haven't sold at $300 by the last couple of days, I will drop the price a bit for you. We are not on track to hit our goal right now, and selling one of the big ticket items would go a long way. (On Kickstarter, if you don't hit your goal, the campaign fails and none of the funding goes through.) Also, the next stop for these drum heads is eBay but I'd rather people from the board get them.jaspersk wrote:Hah I’m thinking about it

Also the comic is pretty *SQUEE*' and full of Valiant creators, so you all should check it out!GammaJosh wrote:Message me through the campaign if they are still available towards the end. So if it doesn't make funding, will there still be a way to buy the merch? I really like that vinyl and the comic looks awesome!GammaJosh wrote:Message me through the campaign if they are still available towards the end. Well, yes, but if it doesn't meet the goal we get none of the funds, can't pay off the comic printer and vinyl manufacturer, the band is boned, and I go into hiding from debt collectors in Abu Dhabi! So getting the vinyl and other merch through the Kickstarter is preferred by me and international law enforcement!

Re: SHADOWMAN drum heads & original art sale
Every time I look at this thread, I can only think of the following...
“I don’t want to work, I just want to bang on the drums all day!”
Good luck with the sale.
