Wait a second, I wanna back up to this one. That's an absolutely hilarious concept.

I would tweak this to have a duo, Captain Obvious and his ward, Hindsight. Kind of a bumbling pair like Q&W with a Tick vibe that always manage to inadvertently win the day with something they didn't really intend to do. Hindsight's famous refrain would be "Now that I think about it..."

Love it. Thanks for the laugh.

Boot Leg- When a fireman was hit on the boot by a tongue of flame, the result was his boot was melted to his leg. After being told by a vagrant if he ever removed his boot he'd lose not only his leg, but his boot too, he decided to leave his job at the fire department and sail the seven seas as the pirate Boot Leg.

The Back Burner- When at recess as a child, Ed Backes developed a fascination for crushing bugs. He always crushed them back first, and in doing so noticed all creatures were vulnerable to him when he was behind them.
He quickly developed a technique of fighting from behind his foes, and was undefeated in doing so.
One fateful morning be stabbed both of his parents in the back, and they died. After being thrown in a home for misguided kids, he developed a new technique of burning people alive by burning them from behind.
He now operates as the most feared serial killer of all... The Back Burner.

The Naked Eye- Richard Buff is a private eye, and an accomplished one at that. But after receiving a blow to the head while working a case that would have killed a lesser man, he now suffers from a rare disorder wherein he now likes to work in the, um, buff. He now solves cases as Richard Buff, the Naked Eye.

The idea crossed my mind once about a book about a therapist and psychiatrist duo for super heroes and villains and all their past issues, childhoods, traumas, neuroses, and mental health and addiction problems. I think it could be funny and serious at the same time.
