That whole Dark Horse launch got my attention for about two hours, total. Too many other interesting comic launches back then.

How do you search for that book on eBay, anyway?

No. It was an okay title but not even the best within CGW. Ghost is better and I liked the Amazing Grace story, Catalyst: Agents of Change, the Will to Power crossover and Agents of Law. Out of the Vortex was also pretty good.

The design was pretty cool. That’s about it though. Maybe the epitome of 90s mashup: Looked like Spidey, acted like the Punisher, named like a Mutant.

I got into the Comics Greatest World stuff purely out of the Dead Universe fad that was prolific on this board about ten or more years ago now. Over that time I've managed to put together almost two long boxes of CGW related Dark Horse books, all bargain bin buys of some kind, except for some of the incentive books.

This isn't to say that I'm actually a fan - I'm on the fence about much of the actual content. But, these IP's gave me another hunt to dumpster dive in, and there's a niche market of some kind for this material, especially at bargain bin prices punctuated now and again by a price war for a cover variant.

The two properties that have remaining fandom from CGW are basically X and Ghost - the Ghost stuff pops up, but I have a feeling much of it was underprinted in later volumes and can be a little harder to put together - even out of the back issue bins.

If you search on eBay for X books, I'd just search for X DARK HORSE.

I was a big fan of Project Black Sky when it was going on. Captain Midnight, X, and Brain Boy were awesome. X was actually written by Duane Swierczynski(sp?), and it's just about as brutal and bloody as Bloodshot. I recommend it, but I wouldn't go out of your way to find it.

I really liked it too. It was brutal and gritty and held nothing back.

I liked both X series, but yeah the latest one is really bloody and good.The original had alot of decent villains.He basically fights crime in his city of Arcadia.My favorite part was you get marked once is a warning and the next one you die.

There are at least a couple of omnibuses of the CGW stuff for X as a way of picking the older stuff up pretty easily.
