Re: Livewire #1 Discussion
So the Lucia thing is something that's bothered me from the beginning.
• She's spoken of in the SECRET WEAPONS mini but doesn't actually appear until HW2 #0, which many people won't be able to read since it was not collected. (Because of this Snowbeard also isn't explained if you don't read the Zero issue. He's a character that suddenly appears and we have no understanding of his motivation or where he came from. Great way to tell a story guys!)
• HW2 #0 leads right into the HW2 Prelude issue where Lucia appears and gets shot in the neck (shoulder ?).
• Lucia next appears with the rest of the group at the end of HW2 #1 in a couple panels with Livewire, none of them have any dialogue and she has no bandages or anything indicating that she was shot.
• The Secret Weapons don't appear again until the AFTERMATH issue where there is no Lucia.
• And she is nowhere to be found in LIVEWIRE #1.

What does that response even mean? That they are aware that they are dropping the ball? Compunding one poor storytelling choice with another?

Would have been funnier if she replied- "Wait there's another one? What??"

Hahahaha oh god that would have been hilarious.
Re: Livewire #1 Discussion
Her reply reads like she is basically saying just that. She also seems to be seeing that she doesn't know whether Lucia will appear in the book she's writing Maybe the editors are dictating the story to her or maybe she doesn't know where it's going yet. I miss the Dinesh, Warren, Eric Heisserer days...hawkeyeps wrote:Would have been funnier if she replied- "Wait there's another one? What??"

Yes. Yes it does.syzhang28 wrote:Her reply reads like she is basically saying just that.hawkeyeps wrote:Would have been funnier if she replied- "Wait there's another one? What??"
I blame Kindt and all these random editors as much as her. Kindt didn't include her in the HW2 Aftermath. Apparently nobody reads these books, just the previous issue to the issue they're writing. It's sloppy and not fun to read. Definitely not worth 4 bucks.
