Does anyone know where in the continuity this will pick up and what the post Imperium reading list would be? Without much research I would recommend the following:

Divinity II
Divinity III
Divinity IV
Eternity
Harbinger Renegades Issues 5, 7, 8
Harbinger Wars 2(?)

Any help would be appreciated.

This series picks up directly after Imperium #16, if you've read Imperium that is all you need.

then should we assume that this is a stand alone story with no continuity to the other VEI properties since the end of Imperium?

This is THE continuity, everything after with exception of Secret Weapons was crap and should be discarded.

Agreed! Well , mostly

My impression of it is that this will fit into continuity after the end of the Imperium series ended, with perhaps a small time gap - but that will place it in the "past" as opposed to the 'current' continuity [if you can call it continuity anymore]. There are characters appearing in this that are dead according to 'current' continuity, so... :?

Unless that whole Bloodshot USA thing never happened because it was just another BS memory implant, possibly from Livewire. :hm:

Agreed. Best Valiant issue I've read in a long time, a great continuation of Imperium.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10/10

The year long wait was excruciating, then the added week made it worse, but it was definitely worth it. :thumb:

I think every Valiant Faithful fan is pulling this book, wonder how that will show come total sales. Could this be the book that is most demanded the entire year? I have no doubts it will be.

I hope so - theres a sad truth behind Harbinger/Imperium, and that is that despite it being one of the best written comics out there [VEI or otherwise], it seems to not catch on with the masses as well. I'll never understand that, myself.

I've had the ashcan since October and never opened it. I wanted to enjoy this book in its full splendor and am not disappointed. What a great start to the continuation of Imperium. Love it!

Yep 5/5, Dysart nailed it like we knew he would. Head and shoulders above everything else Valiant has put out for some time. :thumb:

Side note: It's interesting that with Dysart's background concerning child soldiers in Africa, that he has Harada using children as combatants in this story.

Also the fact that China is prominent all of sudden, I think that may be a secret dig at DMG.

It is important to note that China actually IS in Africa right now building bases and acquiring resources. So Dysart is actually spot on with this one.
