I live in an area with about a million people, but it's 3 hours to the next city with 100,000+ people from where I live, so, yep, 3 hours is basically next door.Dallow Spicer1 wrote:I’m nowhere near Scotland!! 3 hour drive approx but I guess in American terms is just around the corner!Chiclo wrote:Yes, Greg, you heard the Scotsman. I live in New York City. A 3 hour drive barely gets you to the city border during rush hourDallow Spicer1 wrote:I’m nowhere near Scotland!! 3 hour drive approx but I guess in American terms is just around the corner!Chiclo wrote:Yes, Greg, you heard the Scotsman. I used to live on the Island and commute by car to Brooklyn. It was 2 to 2.5 hours each way. I had to go in on a Saturday morning once at 7am, no traffic whatsoever. I was there in 22 minutes.kjjohanson wrote:I live in New York City. A 3 hour drive barely gets you to the city border during rush hour

I am waiting for the trade on this as well, as the comic shop didn't commit to my order / or missed it.kinggirlfriend wrote:I'm trade waiting it. One of the hardest things I've had to do!
4850 seems high, IMO. Even among comic fans I find they have no idea who or what Valiant is.
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

I could never commute that time each way.jmatt wrote:I used to live on the Island and commute by car to Brooklyn. It was 2 to 2.5 hours each way. I would just arrive early, read the paper or something. That must of been hard each day for you.
Living in Australia when growing up, driving is no big thing. Niow living in the UK so long, anything over 45min is a long drive for the kids.
Saying that I do drive to Paris alot. 7 hours in total, but ferry trip in middle.

Accurate. 3 hours south from here puts me around Lubbock, which is still in the same area code.Dallow Spicer1 wrote:I’m nowhere near Scotland!! 3 hour drive approx but I guess in American terms is just around the corner!Chiclo wrote:Yes, Greg, you heard the Scotsman.
