Re: The Starbrand in the Marvel 616 Universe
Odd how things intersect. I listen to a paleontology podcast called I KNOW DINO and they love to throw in Dino pop culture news. From them I heard that Avengers #26 features a superpowered T Rex as the most ancient MCU superhero. So not accurate?StarBrand wrote:As seen in Avengers 26, the first Marvel superhero officially was a Starbrand. The story of the MCU cannot be told without mentioning that, now.
“Starbrand Reborn” starts tomorrow in Avengers 27.
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

Yes. It’s a T-Rex with the Starbrand.Oxmyx wrote:Odd how things intersect. I listen to a paleontology podcast called I KNOW DINO and they love to throw in Dino pop culture news. So Starbrand Rex? I'm curious if there's a photo online anywhere. Is this guy a lot like a modest-sized Godzilla?

Wait! So a Starbrand is the Protector of Earth? It's Fist and Steel? Or in the case of the dino, the Tooth and the Claw? Was the dinosaur sentient after becoming a Starbrand?

It didn’t really explain if it was sentient or not, that I recall.Oxmyx wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 6:06:11 pm Nevermind...

The Starbrand in the Marvel 616 Universe
Kevin Connor/616 Starbrand was killed recently and the Starbrand moved to a pregnant woman, who then also died leaving the Starbrand to pass to her child.
Now Iron Man and Captain Marvel are protecting the Starbrand, who is likely the key to defeating Khonshu and/or Mephisto over in Avengers.

I've still been keeping an eye out on Avengers for any further development with the current Starbrand - I gotta go pick up #34.BugsySig wrote: ↑Sun Jul 19, 2020 2:36:05 pm Kevin Connor/616 Starbrand was killed recently and the Starbrand moved to a pregnant woman, who then also died leaving the Starbrand to pass to her child.

Re: The Starbrand in the Marvel 616 Universe
Still finding it very cool that the new Starbrand character continues to make appearances in the current Avengers series - I didn’t read that recent Heroes Reborn mini-series, but apparently the baby host has advanced in age a few years in that storyline to being a young kid now - which I was kind of expecting to happen if they plan on continuing to incorporate the character in an ongoing manner!
