Re: What was Magnus' harbinger power?
No more spoilers but YES and what he's doing with it--IIRC--is quite impressive.magnusr wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 12:59:33 amObie did. Will look up the details. EDIT: It's what issue 51 of Magnus builds up to.mramsterdam wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 6:59:29 pm Why didn't Obie or Torque get Leeja's powers? That would have made them both really strong.

Re: What was Magnus' harbinger power?
He did develop something I remember. And if I'm correct he did use Leeja's power as well!
Time to take a dump. -Torque
Re: What was Magnus' harbinger power?
Hmmm I am half joking but I would go with Sting deflecting those bullets off Torque. His hand looks like its in the right position toward that area of bullets.
Also don't forget Torque got shanked in the back. Spoiler alert.

Re: What was Magnus' harbinger power?
That cover is entirely incorrect as Torque hadn't been wearing a shirt since the end of issue #1.
SPOILER PAUSE (patented by OTV)
Then it's Pete who is being shot at. He's blocking all the bullets and doing his thing to protect the group (who's lying on the ground).
END of SPOILER.

Re: What was Magnus' harbinger power?
But the storylines aren't decades old TO ME ! :'(lorddunlow wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 8:38:57 pm Now this is a Valiant Fans thread...
Seriously. I'm not joking. Here's to more of this inane banter, discussion of decades old comics, and people getting upset that decades old story lines are spoiled.
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

Re: What was Magnus' harbinger power?
Further spoilers:
At the same time, Rock points out that it takes his superstrength plus the right equipment to achieve that. And then it takes a lethal injection to actually finish him off.
I guess superstrength usually goes together with robustness. Would be a bit of an antiklimax to lift a car only to be crushed underneath it.

Rock did have super strength too.....
So I guess no new Harbinger power for Magnus
In another post someone mentioned that Shooter was held to the concept of Magnus. He probably couldn't have given Magnus his own Harby power even if he wanted to
