The first BAD IDEA comic: HERO TRADE #1 by Lapham & Kindt out now.

Post by dino »

For anyone that saw today's decree. Obviously this is NOT true. No matter what amount of clicks The Button get it is not putting a comic into stores today. I mean we don’t even have a full comic printed yet. I just want to make sure no one gets their hopes up. The Button has a track record of lying. Remember when it “died”... I suggest we all stop clicking until we can figure this out.

UPDATE: It's true. I was wrong. The devious The Button has somehow printed a comic and teleported it to stores around the world. Hero Trade #1 is in stores now.

I just called every store in NC and their copies have already been promised out to others. I missed one copy by only a few minutes. One store had no idea what I was talking about and said they never received a copy but took my name and number and said they would call me if they found it.
Frustrating :!: ...……………………………………….but exciting :o

And a big CONGRATULATIONS on publishing!!!! :thumb:

With only one shop listed with bad idea in the UK. I doubt I will get one, shame - really keen on bad idea.
Hate to miss out on any of their comics.

I think their will be so few around, i hope they reprint, or have extra copies to send to shops.

it's tough selling comics at the moment, interesting strategy!
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Many stores getting organized. Copies will come to surface over the next few days. But have no fear, the story will be included in Eniac 3.

The one shop in San Diego county had “sold” theirs. Or something. I talked to the owner and he said Bad Idea was living up to their name.
Got to get my hands on a copy somehow...

True!

I'm really excited to read this, and there is not much to read at the shop these days. I like the Tweets I'm seeing where shops are selling this for $3.99, but I'm also excited to see Bad Idea start off with some big auctions as well.

Love the logo.

The photos on eBay listings show that this is a well drawn book and I can’t wait to read it. Those BW ashcan prices will come down, but they’re starting off with a bang.

I hope the prices do come down, as the only comic book in Australia that will sell Bad Idea comics only received one copy, which is a promotional copy they aren't going to sell.

So i'm feeling a little *SQUEE* off that if you aren't living in America, its a big *SQUEE* you.

Just pre-ordered Eniac. It just looks so good. Fingers crossed my LCS still has their lone copy of The The Hero Trade for sale.

At least you have that 1 store down there. Be happy about it!

This promo's just a random story anyway.

It doesn't even seem to carry a #BadIdea logo.

Any chance of slipping a few more into the wild sort of like the golden ticket Unity books?

Yep. Insanity! My best guess is that 5 copies have now sold for between about $250 - $860. Madness, I tell you....
