How much would YOU pay for newly released CGC 10.0???

Everything else comic-related that's not VALIANT-related.

Let me give it a shot...

Fantastic Four #1 is worth tens of thousands of dollars...
and it's just "regular" Fantastic Four...
imagine how much more valuable this book will be... it says "Ultimate"!!!
"Ultimate" always beats "regular", right?!?

Do you want a regular job or the ultimate job?
Do you want a regular vacation or the ultimate vacation?
Do you want a regular Fantastic Four #1 or the Ultimate Fantastic Four #1? :P  :D

I've said it before and I'll say it again... people will always be suckers for "collectibles".
How else do you explain that the "collectibles shows" on the
Home Shopping Network, QVC, and ShopAtHome are STILL ON THE AIR?
There has never been a SINGLE good deal on those shows... not one.
Yet, people still buy the $1,000+ items by the dozens all the time.
Collectibles are an investment for 95% of collectors...
and only about 5% will ever see a dollar more than they paid.

god, maybe i should go buy the first issue of every series, get it graded and sell it for $800.
i still chuckle when i think about spawn #1...a $10 book selling for $200+ because it was cgc'ed as 9.8.
there are books that should be cgc'ed.
if i'm going to spend $20,000 on amazing fantasy #15 then i want a accurate grade on it.
if i'm looking to buy wildcats #1 then i could care less if it's cgc'ed as 9.9.
it's freaking wildcats for christsakes!
some people deserve to be shot.
hey you! yes the guy who just bought the $800 dollar 2 month old comic...get outta the genepool!

To the second question: human nature.

To the first: $20, just for the novelty of it.

Why waste time learning, when ignorance is instantaneous?
