You guys didn't hear about the movie news that Master Darque takes on the Harbinger kids?

That didn't happen. I could see some crazy news spurring the purchase of Harbinger 1, but Shadowman 8? Bananas.

Maybe someone is betting Harbinger #1 nostalgia at age 30 (in 2022) will be like Bone #1 nostalgia this year. :hm:

Bone #1 (1991) has three sales over $3,400 each for CGC 9.0 in the past 90 days. :o

If even a fraction of that happens with Harbinger #1, it could be worth it.

I was watching at least 3 copies on eBay and saw they all ended on the same day. I was wondering what was going on. Looks like I missed out on a copy once again. :(

Just checked eBay. Only 1 available at $1500. I'm very interested to see where this goes!

I also had noticed all those Harby 1s CGC 9.8 had sold together. Maybe someone knows something that we don’t…(movie news?). Not sure what to think about that.

Very odd, the book has been in the doldrums for months on end….I’d like to see this pull up the raws, I’ve had one up on eBay for eternity.
Btw bone 1 had a print run less than 10% of Harbinger 1.

Right, and if CGC 9.0s of Harbinger #1 start selling for 10% of CGC 9.0 Bone #1 prices when they hit 30 years old next year, the 9.8s will be much, much higher than today.

Both are tough books in 9.8, you own copies of each, iirc? What is relatively more difficult to get? Bone 1 never seems to come up for sale in high grade….TMNT would probably be a better comparison….

A commenter on Comicbookinvest.com is suggesting there is a Harbinger tv show in the works. I can’t find a reputable source confining this.

That would be one hell of a speculative bet! There is enough supply out there that more 9.8s might come out of the woodwork dumping supply on the market....

Would this land on Paramount+?

WOW. Those are some good prices. My personal copy of Harby 1 is pristine. I haven't sent it to CGC yet, but I'd willing to bet I'd get a 9.6 or 9.8
