Armorclads vs Bad Idea Donuts
Looking at all the bad idea donuts pictures and realizing that this is exactly what they used to do at Valiant. Then looking at what's happening with Armorclads and feeling down. Am I crazy? Is Valiant on the right path? Or could they use more of that bad idea enegery?

They need an editor who know what good stories are. I think nobody cares over there they just fart junk out.
I Miss the good old days.

Re: Armorclads vs Bad Idea Donuts
Is it presumptive on our part to assume that the objective is to put out “good stories”? That we only judge the comics by some kind of subjective quality of the story and art?

Re: Armorclads vs Bad Idea Donuts
I've enjoyed some of these recent books. Shadowman has been really solid and I am not upset with ArmorClads.
with that said, Dinesh and Co did bring a certain feel to the comics, and you can see that (on hyper-blast) with Bad Idea. Energy is high, connection with the fans are high, the hype is real. That team's energy is what got us so excited to read Valiant books in the first place.
Since I am hungry I will make this analogy...
Bad Idea is a Reuben and swiss on toasted rye bread with a seed-like mustard and maybe a little kraut or pickle.
New Valiant is a Turkey and American cheese on white bread.
Turkey and Cheese will get the job done, and you won't say no to it. But come on, there's a Gawd-Damned Reuben over there!!
