Crossovers
VH 1 directly established that DC and Marvel (and even Star Trek) are fictional within the VALIANT Universe, but it also established that Predators exist.
Continuing along those lines, while crossovers between any iteration of VALIANT with DC and Marvel (and Star Trek) might contradict what VH 1 established, what would be some good crossover ideas for other cinematic universes like Predator?
Armorines vs Aliens?
Bloodshot vs John Wick?
Divnity in 2001 and 2010: The Year We Made Contact?
Dr. Mirage visits The Overlook Hotel?

Re: Crossovers
That's similar to VH2 Armorines, that worked well.
I can easily see Magnus in a number of SciFi settings.

Re: Crossovers
Archie meets the Bloodshot?
Elfquest is a comic within Valiant as well, so no Elfquest crossovers.

Re: Crossovers
Maybe a Harbinger or a magician can cast a spell that traps Faith in an Elfquest comic book.

I hate that you came up with a clever idea that would probably make a good story.ManofTheAtom wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 9:31:15 amMaybe a Harbinger or a magician can cast a spell that traps Faith in an Elfquest comic book.

Re: Crossovers
Even though Harbinger established that Star Trek is fictional within the VALIANT Universe, a "Magnus Robot Fighter/Star Trek" crossover would have been interesting for VALIANT/Voyager to do back in the day given that Gold Key published their comics.
Magnus vs the Borg...
While a crossover between Magnus and Star Trek would contradict the reference to Star Trek The Next Generation in Harbinger, a crossover between Magnus and Space Family Robinson (a precursor to Lost in Space), another comic book Gold Key published, would not.
Could that be altered to make it a legit crossover with Lost in Space?
Magnus vs Robot would be cool. Is Robot a free will or is he merely following a set program?

Re: Crossovers
Magnus vs. The Transformers there are plenty of human sized bots he could fight then he could fight Megatron at the end.

I'm not too keen on mixing superheroes with cartoons/action figure lines (i.e., Superman/He-Man, etc. They make no sense to me), but I suppose this could work.

IF Magnus kills Bumblebee I would 100% buy it, because I hate that little yellow *SQUEE*.ManofTheAtom wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 11:27:42 amInteresting.Cyberstrike wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 10:07:28 am Magnus vs. The Transformers there are plenty of human sized bots he could fight then he could fight Megatron at the end.

Now if Magnus fights Ultra Magnus (an Autobot semi car carrier) would have to be done because of the name.

How often has Bumblebee died? Re: Crossovers
IIRC Once in IDW's Dark Cybertron crossover and came back as Starscream's version of Jimmy Cricket. In other media Bumblebee has never died, he's been blown up and rebuilt as Goldbug and or as a Pretender.Chiclo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 1:30:23 pmHow often has Bumblebee died? And add in Doc Will Magnus and Erik Magnus Lehnsherr to make it really interesting.Cyberstrike wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 1:16:04 pm Now if Magnus fights Ultra Magnus (an Autobot semi car carrier) would have to be done because of the name.

Re: Crossovers
Technically OT as they don't share a story, below is (as far as I know) the "closest" Magnus and Lost in Space has been in US publishing.ManofTheAtom wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 2:46:08 pm Magnus and Space Family Robinson (a precursor to Lost in Space)

As I was catching up on this thread, I saw someone mention Transformers and was getting ready to respond, "Someone sent up the Cyberstrike flare! I wonder how long it will take before he shows up?" But then he posted like two posts later. LOL
