The Valiants #4

Post by Dallow Spicer1 »

What a waste of time this 4 issue mini series was. Garbled mess! This is just amateur hour from writer Ryan Cady. Ultimately, Lysa Hawkins editor and co-story credit needs to go. She’s not up to the job of editing a coherent story or selecting talent for books.

I don’t think I can summarise what the story actually was here, whatever it was it was just a feeble excuse to cram as many characters into a 4 issue series.

Sometimes less is more Alien!

Noticed the card stock on the cover is lower quality. Something I don’t care about but the price should drop if the paper is lower stock.

1/5 - Probably the worst Valiant event ever (unless there was a worse Acclaim one?)

I wouldn’t mind if it was a great story, but the fact she hired Ryan Cady then had to help him with the story seems odd to me :?

Dang, that's really bad coming from you, since I know you have been reading these with an open mind and you're a big VEI fan.

I did try to read the first page in the store, but the storytelling made no sense. I put it back on the shelf, not worth 5 bucks. Nothing I've seen has convinced me that Alien takes these characters seriously. I guess I'll be waiting for whatever's next. :?

I appreciate what this series did.
It got most of the toys back out of the box to remind people who they were, and set up the Resurgence.
