For those interested, the remainder of my father-in-law's slabs have arrived at ComicLink and are beginning to be included in their auctions (it seems like they will be included in auctions over the span of the next few months).

4 of them are available in the auction that starts tonight, all valiant:

SOLAR, MAN OF THE ATOM #10, CGC 9.8 NM/MT - https://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item ... id=1808601

ETERNAL WARRIOR #1, GOLD EDITION, CGC 9.8 NM/MT - https://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item ... id=1808600

CAPTAIN N: THE GAME MASTER #1, CGC 9.8 NM/MT - https://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item ... id=1808740

ADVENTURES OF THE SUPER MARIO BROS. #1, CGC 9.8 NM/MT - https://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item ... id=1808739

Just want to say I received 3 boxes of books from the collection, expertly and carefully packed. I haven’t perused them closely yet, but what I’ve seen is great so far.

Thanks for the extras, J!

I really hope you do well with these auctions.

Best,
Steve

Thanks, @nycjadie, glad you enjoyed them.

If there is interest here, i'll keep updating as more books become available on comiclink (they have about 850 slabs to unpack, catalogue, and schedule, of which about 300 have been entered so far).

For anyone who might be interested, the majority of my father-in-law's slabs are in this month's comiclink auction. Some end on the 26th, others end on october 9th. This auction includes a lot of valiant golds, a lot of almost-complete runs, almost all are cgc slabbed and graded 9.8 (with a few lower graded and a few 9.9s and 10s). The auction has only just begun, but many still have no bids and so, if this is the sort of thing that interests you, now is the time to get a bargain :)

Links to all the auctions can be found onthis page (which is too large to put into a post on this forum): https://notadragon.github.io/comic_auct ... tions.html

Before anyone asks, I haven't had a chance to get the bloodshot platinums regraded yet, so that will come later.

Happily picking up a few of these slabs this past week! It will be an honor to have a few of Gordon's books in my keeper collection.

Thanks to everyone that participated. Turnout in September was decent, though I hate to think about how much of a loss this was compared to what my father-in-law invested in these books.

In the october comiclink auction there is another batch of his books, much smaller this time. A list of links to the auctions (already started) is here:
https://notadragon.github.io/comic_auct ... tions.html

In November there is just one book, a 10.0 deathmate preview: https://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item ... id=1810205

Finally, in January the last batch of books will be listed:

I did my part to bid on these and bought many, many more. I was also sad to see how the value of these books has dropped recently. I’ll be sure to bid on these new ones.

Auctions in general are not a good way to sell. I’ve found good deals on auction houses as a buyer because I think a lot of people forget to bid. Was that Armorines 4, yours? I would have bid on that, that sale was criminal.

I can't believe I missed these auctions. (Also I can't believe how cheap most of these books went for. I more for most of them previously).
