It could be the end of Diamond remember Marvel filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and they're alive and well.

Well, Marvel today is not the same as that Marvel. That Marvel was first saved by Toy Biz, while Marvel today is owned by Disney.

Yeah, the brand might survive, but I expect a new company will emerge. I have no clue whether that could be better or worse. My gut says it accelerates the death of monthly comics, but we'll see.
