An 8. It's not on the same level that Shooter wrote the title but if all the post-Shooter issue were like this one I could've lived with it (but they weren't). Great art. Great action. It's nice how "vengence" didn't make them feel a bit better. Sort of goes against the great comic cliche.

I'll go a tick higher and give it a 9. The story wasn't bad, but there was a great amount of varied action. Rock is such a *SQUEE*, but Flamingo reveals herself yet again to be a reluctant badass ... when she wants to put the beatdown, she can.

definetly one of the better post unity books out there...solid art and dialoque...I agree with Todd that if all the other comics post-shooter were this well done, the company would have done well...
Why waste time learning, when ignorance is instantaneous?

This issue is about getting revenge for torque. Seems like a bit of a sidebar now. This issue would have been a nice story to tell right before unty.

Laphams style has changed since the Shooter books. I wonder if Shooter was involved in the layouts then or if Layton is on these books. They seem more comic styled and dont take advantage of Laphams skills. Check out the last panel on page 4 - you never would have seen that in the first 7 books. His detail is still there and it really gives harbinger a quality feel.

Nice scene with Harada. Maybe my favourite Harada page yet.

Man weasel is ugly!

The character stuff is nice and the story decent but the plot turns just aren't as unique as the early harby stories - The kids have rock and boom! Eggbreakers arrive....
Or maybe its just that they arrive in an image style team pose.

A decent book but wheres the direction. We're still on cruise control since Unity. a 7

Reading through the other posts I think I overanalysed the small stuff. I took for granted the reluctant hero Flamingo plays. The morally ambiguity of Weasel and Rock and the subersion of the revenge cliche. I feel stronger about my 7 rating but not enough for an 8. close though.
